After years of Corporate life making good friends while we worked together to solve some of the biggest challenges in business today, as retirement loomed, I realized I would no longer be a day-to-day member of large, global teams. With little social life outside of work, I thought about how I would build my life after retirement. When my career led me into IT and Engineering, with a 30-year background leading Marketing & Communications teams, I found I missed the creativity of Marketing, and found that Stampin' Up! gave me the creative outlet I craved. I became a Stampin' Up! independent demonstrator 10 years before retireing from the Corporate world., Some years I was very active and my craft room was full of delightful stampers laughing and sharing our lives as we stamped an afternoon away. Other years while still working, I was too busy to do much more than create a few projects for friends and family. I was truly a "hobby demonstrator".
Now that I'm retired from the Corporate world, I'm grateful for the stampin' friends I've made over the years, and I'm now able to make additional new friends while having fun doing something I love. Since joing Stampin' Up! as an Independent Demonstrator in 2005, I've loved making handmade greeting cards to stay in touch with the friends I've made over the years. I've grown a gorup of Stampin' Team members throughout the US, and have built a core team of Stamping firends --both other demonstrators and customers--in Houston TX. How can I help you unleash your creativity while growing a group of wonderful friends? Send me an e-mail or give me a call; I look forward to getting to know you!
